A star on my lap.

I reminisce those gloomy childhood days when I was left unaccompanied against plots of my friends who had siblings. I always felt like I was an outcast. I had no one to play with, no one to bout, no one to trade stationaries and clothes with. Mom and dad would stay all day at work and when they’d come back they’ll stick to their business– I never got to jest with them either. My Grandpa and Grandma were too old to run after me and play. I stayed aloof and blue all day. I always wished I had a sibling to beat-up, to cry with, to play with and I also craved for someone to bear my weight.
After the heart-rending demise of my grandpa I was left with nothing but soreness. I only wished I had him back yet again. And then 6 months later Mom asked me to tag along with her to the doc she asked me if I’d be okay-if she told me she was pregnant. Tears trundled down my cheeks; I was full of life to know I’d finally have a baby brother. All I said was “I’d be the gladdest– But you have to assure me that you’ll tell the world I’m half his mom.” Those Nine months I spent canoodling her bump, I installed baby bump (An app that demonstrates  the fetus–Growth, Weight, Appearance) on my phone, I devotedly read holy legends and math formula’s for the baby, I always knew it was a boy– consequently I kept showing mom pictures of cars and always kept her up late nights for football matches!
And then god, on 18th of October blessed me and my family with this amazing tiny bale of joy!
Talaank- He means more than what you call world to me. Today I kept pondering on the idea of my next blog post with him on my lap. I asked him should I tell everyone about you? He gave me a smile–one that costs a zillion bucks!
He is an honor to have….I love him to enormity.
P.S. Another brother I'am truly blessed with is Tapas ( My first cousin) he's the most vital part of my life. Him and Talaank are people I can happily die for. I will feature him next week(:

Ransom of Souls – The Martyrs.

An accolade to the victims of the 26/11 bombings in Mumbai, India.

Martyr– a departed soldier is that all, the soldiers step into a bloodbath with a qualm of death,
Did we think of those whom fears have vexed, those whose loved ones have wept, who begged a life till their last breathe?
To bring their existence to test and to glimpse demise abreast.
The agony they felt and violence to which they knelt,
aren't those ordeals a victim dealt?
Think of a family who went there for rest,
another group of youths who went there for a quest,
a lass who went shopping to look her best– They did not event think they’d be shot dead.
It’s a life they gave in ransom to cruelty and terror,
they said adios although it wasn't their error.
If I pronounce a martyr my heart would cripple of pain,
I’d call them not victims but martyrs of arcane– who drank ounces of bane to give no strain to the others in vain.
The soldiers to me are martyrs too but along with them they have a few who deserve the value,
To do them through the sky in blue to the heavens let’s say they did good deeds over eleven.
                                                                                                                             Sainidhi Iyer

Startling Trepidation – Terrorism

‘Terrorism’ as a word first emerged at the culmination of the eighteenth century in post-revolutionary France when it was used by the Dictionnaire de l’Académie françaiseto describe ‘a regime of terror’. Ironically given its usage today, the term originally referred to a legitimate system of government which used terror to assert itself. Its muse was the fearsome la Terreur which devoured revolutionary France under Robespierre’s condemned command between 1793 and 1794. A century later, Paris became the scene of a further development in the history of terrorism: hostage taking. In the spring of 1871 during the transitory reign of the Paris Commune, the concept of hostage taking, now a commonplace attribute of current day terrorism, was born.
Somewhere along the line, however, the theory of terrorism experienced an overhaul in its definition. Nowadays it is commonly perceived as an act of aggression committed by a non-state group for the purpose of undermining a national government, with the intention of kindling terror amongst the people.
Events of the past undertook a new meaning in the light of this new definition, and England’s notorious Catholic conspirators of the Gunpowder Plot, for example, began to be viewed as some of the nation’s earliest terrorists. Religious conviction has a habit of inspiring terrorist activity. Today terrorism has repeatedly manifested itself in the form of Islamic fundamentalism; however this association is by no means topical. I believe terrorism is not in any way allied to religions, dogmas or philosophies. It is probably cut down to oodles of genres- The terms "terrorism" and "terrorist” carry strong negative connotations. These terms are often used as political labels, to censure violence or the threat of vehemence by certain actors as immoral, indiscriminate and unjustified or to convict an entire segment of a population. Those labeled "terrorists" by their opponents rarely identify themselves as such, and typically use other terms or terms specific to their situation, such as separatist, freedom fighter, liberator, revolutionary, vigilante, militant, paramilitary, guerrilla, rebel, patriot, or any similar-meaning word in other languages and cultures. Jihadi, mujaheddin, and fedayeen are similar Arabic words which have entered the English lexicon.
Terrorists are chiefly prominent figures that enthuse me to take  up a research . I always wondered how could there possibly be someone without remorse, fear, pain, humanity and love- summarizing that they were ‘emotionless’. This prompted me to study the lives of a few terrorist and conclude it’s the lack of emotions that make them a terrorist– Only an impassive person can fathom the schemes of terror and associate them to unimaginable things only to prove that their act does make sense!
Here are three terrorists devising diverse turfs of implication:-
Timothy James "Tim" McVeigh (April 23, 1968 – June 11, 2001) Oklahoma City bombing
Timothy James "Tim" McVeigh  was an American domestic terrorist who detonated a truck bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. Commonly referred to as the Oklahoma City Bombing, the attack killed 168 people and injured over 800. It was the deadliest act of terrorism within the United States prior to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
McVeigh, a militia movement sympathizer, sought revenge against the federal government for its handling of the Waco Siege, which had ended in the deaths of 76 people exactly two years prior to the bombing, as well as for the Ruby Ridge incident in 1992. McVeigh hoped to inspire a revolt against what he considered to be a tyrannical federal government. He was convicted of 11 federal offenses and sentenced to death. His execution took place on June 11, 2001 at the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana. Terry Nichols and Michael Fortier were also convicted as conspirators in the plot.
Tim McVeigh
McVeigh was born in Lockport, New York, the only son and the second of three children of William and Mildred "Mickey" McVeigh. His parents divorced when he was 10 years old and he was raised by his father in Pendleton, New York. McVeigh claimed to have been a target of bullying at school and that he took refuge in a fantasy world where he imagined retaliating against those bullies.  At the end of his life he would state his belief that the United States government is the ultimate bully. Most who knew McVeigh remember him as being withdrawn, with a few describing him as an outgoing and playful child who withdrew as an adolescent. McVeigh is said to have had one girlfriend during his childhood, later stating to journalists he did not know how to impress girls. According to his authorized biography, "his only sustaining relief from his unsatisfied sex drive was his even stronger desire to die.”

Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler
A decorated veteran of World War I, Hitler joined the German Workers' Party (precursor of the NSDAP) in 1919, and became leader of the NSDAP in 1921. In 1923, he attempted a coup d'état, known as the Beer Hall Putsch, in Munich. The failed coup resulted in Hitler's imprisonment, during which time he wrote his memoir, Mein Kampf (My Struggle). After his release in 1924, Hitler gained popular support by attacking the Treaty of Versailles and promoting Pan-Germanism, antisemitism, and anti-communism with charismatic oratory and Nazi propaganda. Adolf Hitler was born on 20 April 1889 at the Gasthof zum Pommer, an inn in Ranshofen,[9] a village annexed in 1938 to the municipality of Braunau am Inn, Austria-Hungary. He was the fourth of six children to Alois Hitler and Klara Pölzl (1860–1907). Adolf's older siblings – Gustav, Ida, and Otto – died in infancy. When Hitler was three, the family moved to Passau, Germany.[11] There he acquired the distinctive lower Bavarian dialect, rather than Austrian German, which marked his speech all of his life. Hitler took singing lessons, sang in the church choir, and even considered becoming a priest. In 1898 the family returned permanently to Leonding. The death of his younger brother, Edmund, from measles on 2 February 1900 deeply affected Hitler. He changed from being confident and outgoing and an excellent student, to a morose, detached, and sullen boy who constantly fought with his father and teachers
Hitler is considered to be a terrorist for the use of genocide and mass murders. When I think of Nazi killing, genocide immediately comes to mind, particularly that of "6,000,00 Jews." But they also murdered for reasons other than race or religion. For one, the Nazis slew those who opposed or hindered them, whether actually or potentially. This was why Hitler assassinated hundreds of top Nazi. As high as this human cost of the Nazis was for the Germans, it was higher for the countries they invaded and occupied, particularly in the East. Not only did the Nazis eliminate actual critics and opponents as a matter of course, but they also prevented any serious potential opposition by simply exterminating the top leadership, intellectuals, and professionals. Besides Jews, the Germans murdered near 2,400,000 Poles, 3,000,000 Ukrainians, 1,593,000 Russians, and 1,400,000 Byelorussians, many of these among the best and the brightest men and women. The Nazis killed in cold blood nearly one out of every six Polish or Soviet citizens, including Jews, under their rule. Moreover, the Nazis murdered as an administrative device. They used terror and mass reprisals to maintain their control, prevent sabotage, and safeguard their soldiers.
Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski  born May 22, 1942), also known as the "Unabomber"
An American murderer, mathematician, social critic, anarchist, and Neo-Luddite.[2] Between 1978 and 1995, Kaczynski engaged in a nation-wide bombing campaign against modern technology, planting or mailing numerous home-made bombs, killing three people and injuring 23 others.
Kaczynski was born in Chicago, Illinois, where, as a child prodigy, he excelled academically from an early age. Kaczynski was accepted into Harvard University at the age of 16, where he earned an undergraduate degree, and later earned a PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan. He became an assistant professor at theUniversity of California, Berkeley at age 25, but resigned two years later.
Theodore John Kaczynski.
The Unabomber was the target of one of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's costliest investigations. Before Kaczynski's identity was known, the FBI used the title "UNABOM" (UNiversity & Airline BOMber) to refer to his case, which resulted in the media calling him the Unabomber. The FBI pushed for the publication of Kaczynski's "Manifesto" which led to his brother and his wife recognizing Kaczynski's style of writing and beliefs from the manifesto, and tipping off the FBI.  Kaczynski tried unsuccessfully to dismiss his court appointed lawyers because they wanted to plead insanity in order to avoid the death penalty, as Kaczynski did not believe he was insane. When it became clear that his pending trial would entail national television exposure for Kaczynski, the court entered a plea agreement, under which he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole. He has been designated a "domestic terrorist" by the FBI.
One an anti-government, second A political activist and third a tagged psychotic bomber. One palpable fact is that all the three led tough lives as broods. They were bullied and had parents with either a bad or wrecked marriages. These glum episodes of their lives made them feel dejected the only way they saw to give it back to those people who hurt them was posturing to terrible violence and overdoing every power –Firing up a new legacy, they used imprudent terminologies to justify their offences. I believe such emotional flux has amplified in an alarming rate in the world; our lifestyle may leave many children with this weird dilemma!
Now my question to you is should we make a change, If yes then How?
How can we stay confident of not encouraging the new generation to crime –Unknowingly or not?
Terror– What is it? Can you redefine it? Feel free to comment and let me know your views I will pick the best ones and illustrate them next week.

Vivid Luminosities – The lit lamp.

Tray full of oil lamps-Indian diyas.

Light has an extreme connotation in spirituality. Even normally we cannot think of spending a day starved of light. Light, furthermore is personified to be an embodiment of knowledge, enlightenment, advancement, success, zenith, happiness and wholly anything amusing and superior. Light has always had an inimitable status in every religion. Condoning the divine weightage of light, scientifically light has its own eminence!  Light is electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye, and is responsible for the sense of sight.[1] Visible light has a wavelength in the range of about 380 nanometres to about 740 nm – between the invisible infrared, with longer wavelengths and the invisible ultraviolet, with shorter wavelengths. Science has oodles of theories based on Light. To name a few, Refraction-Radiation Pressure- Particle theory- Wave theory- Quantum theory- Electromagnetic theory.
Every festival more than sacred has an ethnic motive-Diwali the Hindu festival of lights has been associated with innumerable legends. It’s a festival when everyone lights a lamp all around their houses or at least compromise with one at the doorstep. Diwali is prevalently looked upon as a gala, recalling the memory of our heavenly king Ram’s return to his palace after an exile of 14 years with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman after slaying an evil king Ravana . All I kept thinking was why did people choose light? We have had many holy triumph epics and light particularly has been a part only of Ram’s victory! And now I do have an answer!
Diwali mostly comes around the scorpion zodiac. Scorpio (♏)is the eighth astrological sign in the Zodiac. It spans the 210-240th degree of the zodiac, between 207.25 and 234.75 degree of celestial longitude, an area which the Sun transits on average between October 23 and November 22 each year. In Sidereal astrology, the sun currently transits the constellation of Scorpio from November 16 to December 15 (approximately) being the calmest astrological time most devoid of any kind of orbit-fluxes, planetary shifts and the likes- It is supposed to be the time of year when cosmic energy is emitted in abundance. There are two ways to restocking the energy meditation (igniting the light within you): for the furtherance of our soul and inner-self and Lighting a lamp: to fill the milieu with lots of energy as the energy around up influences our behavior.
Me lighting my Diwali lamp-Diya
Primordially in India people conducted prayer meets the entire month of Kartik (In the lunar Hindu calendar, Kartika begins with the new moon in November and is the eighth month of the year except in Gujarat, where it marks the new year that falls on Diwali. In the solar religious calendar used in Tamil Nadu, Kartikai begins with the Sun's entry into Scorpio and is the eight month of the year.) In Ayodhya (Ram’s kingdom-Indian subcontinent) as people would not get a stint to sit and pray (for refurbishment of conventional energy till the next year) they would simply light an oil lamp and keep it at the doorway.
Hence, I request all my readers to light an oil lamp for the next two days as it may charge your environs up! And to all my readers from  India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Mauritius, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, Malaysia, Singapore and Fiji. I wish y’all a very Happy Diwali! Hope this bit of tiding astounded you and helped you know the significance of light. I light a lamp every day and I keep a candle burning in my prayer room round the clock it gives me a serine feeling. Next time you look at a lamp think –how much does it insinuate.

Immortality and Mortality of an Epitome-The deed thrive.

Immortality is in a way Mortality in Reality.

The new age saga, Physical immortality researches are flourishing. Why we have become so rapt to the concept of Immortality? I feel dejected to know that humans today have overlooked the joy of shedding a mortal coil. Does the existence of a body really matter over the existence of your soul-deeds? It absolutely doesn't !  Like Buddha imparted the secret of Immortality “Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue.” Deeds have been illustrated to be the ignited inferno of human impermanence. Every religious conviction has a few lines to say when it comes to MORTALITY.

Krishna: Hindu Faith, 2000 B.C. Holy Scripture: Bhagavad-Gita
Who in all his work sees God, he in truth goes unto God....
He is the never-created Creator of all: he knows all ... the creator of all time.... From him comes the transmigration of life and liberation: bondage in time and freedom Eternity.
The transmigration of life, takes place in one’s own mind. Let one therefore keep the mind pure, for what a man thinks that he becomes: this is a mystery of Eternity.
The Spirit, without moving, is swifter than the mind; the senses cannot reach him: He is ever beyond them. ...
... the Spirit though one, takes new forms in all things that live. He is within all, and is also outside.
The Spirit that is in all beings is immortal in them all: for the death of what cannot die, cease thou to sorrow.
At the moment of death the sum of all the experiences of life on earth comes to the surface of the mind-for in the mind are stored all the impressions of past deeds and the dying man then becomes absorbed in these experiences.

Moses Jewish Faith, 1330.B C. Holy Scripture: Old Testament
A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. Ecclesiastes 7:1
...the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7
...he who goes down to the grave does not return. Job 7:9
... Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are with me...Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalms 23: 1-6

Buddha Buddhist Faith, 560 B.C. Holy Scripture: Tipitaka Quotes from: (The Tibetan Book of the Dead)
First of all there will appear to you, swifter than lightning; the luminous splendor of the colorless light of Emptiness, and that will surround you on all sides. ...Try to submerge yourself in that light, giving up all belief in a separate self, all attachment to your illusory ego.
... Buddha’s and Bodhisattvas will for seven days appear to you in their benign and peaceful aspect. Their light will shine upon you, Wonderful and delightful though they are, The Buddha’s may nevertheless frighten you. Do not give in to your fright! Do not run away! Serenely contemplate the spectacle before you! Overcome your fear, and feel no desire! Realize that these are the rays of the grace of the Buddha’s, who come to receive you into their Buddha-realms. Pray to them with intense faith and humility.
But if you miss it, you will next be confronted with the angry deities, threatening you and barring your passage ... because you turned a deaf ear to the saving truths of religion. All these forms are strange to you, ... they terrify you, ... and yet it is you who have created them. Do not give in to your fright, flee them not! They are but ... the contents of your own mind... If at this point you should manage to understand that, and you will find yourself in a paradise among the angels.
The judgment: You are now before Yama, King of the Dead. In vain will you try to...deny or conceal the evil deeds you have done. The mirror in which Yama seems to read your past is your own memory, and also his judgment is your own. It is you yourself who pronounce your own judgment.

Christ Christian Faith, 1 A.D. Holy Scripture: New Testament
...Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. ...
I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. John 11:25,26-5:24
If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body...And just as we have borne the likeness of earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven. I Corinthians 15:50
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. II Corinthians 4:18
The spirit gives life the flesh is of no avail. John 6:63
...The body without the spirit is dead. ... James 2:26
As long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord... and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. II Corinthians 5:5-6
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:13
God will give to each person according to what he has done. Romans 2:6

Muhammad Muslim Faith, 622 A.D Holy Scripture: Qur'an
They know the outward shows of this life present but of the next life are they careless. Have they not consider the heavens and the earth and all that is between them but for a serious end, and for a fixed term? But truly most men believe not that they shall meet their Lord. 30:6-7
... and we will test you with evil and with good; and unto us shall ye be brought back. 21:35-36
Whatever good works ye send on before [death]... ye shall find with God. 13:20
And they will ask thee of the spirit. Say: The spirit proceedeth at my Lord’s command; but of knowledge, only a little is given to you. 17:18
On a certain day shall every soul come to plead for itself, and every soul shall be repaid according to its deeds; and they shall not be wronged.
By God ye shall be called to account for your doings! 16:58

Baha'u'llah Baha'i Faith 1844 A.D. Holy Scripture includes writings of The Bab (the forerunner), Baha'u'llah (the prophet founder), and 'Abdu'l-Baha (the son of Baha'u'llah)
Know, thou, that the soul is a sign of God, a heavenly gem whose reality the most learned of men hath failed to grasp, and whose mystery no mind, however acute, can ever hope to unravel. It is the first among all created things to declare the excellence of its Creator, the first to recognize His glory, to cleave to His truth, and bow down in adoration before Him. ... Verily I say, the human soul is exalted above all egress and regress. It is still, and yet it soareth; it moveth, and yet it is still. It is, in itself, a testimony that beareth witness to the existence of a world that is contingent, as well as to the reality of a world that hath neither beginning nor end.
The soul, after its separation from the body, will continue to progress until it attaineth the presence of God, in a state and condition which neither the revolution of ages and centuries, nor the changes or chances of this world, can alter. It will endure as long as the Kingdom of God, His sovereignty, His dominion and power will endure. It will manifest the signs of God and His attributes, and will reveal His loving kindness and bounty. When the human soul soareth out of this transient heap of dust and riseth into the world of God, then veils will fall away, and verities will come to light, and all things unknown before will be made clear, and hidden truths be understood.
The nature of the soul after death can never be described, nor is it meet and permissible to reveal its whole character to the eyes of men. The Prophets and Messengers of God have been sent down for the sole purpose of guiding mankind to the straight Path of Truth. The purpose underlying Their revelation hath been to educate all men, that they may, at the hour of death, ascend, in the utmost purity and sanctity and with absolute detachment, ... The light which these souls radiate is responsible for the progress of the world and the advancement of its peoples ... and constitute the animating force through which the arts and wonders of the world are made manifest.
Bring thyself to account each day ere thou art summoned to a reckoning; for death, unheralded, shall come upon thee and thou shalt be called to give account for thy deeds.
... The decrees of the Sovereign Ordainer, as related to fate and predestination, are of two kinds. Both are to be obeyed and accepted. The one is irrevocable, the other is, as termed by men, impending. To the former all must unreservedly submit, inasmuch as it is fixed and settled. God however, is able to alter or repeal it. As the harm that must result from such a change will be greater than if the decree had remained unaltered, all, therefore, should willingly acquiesce in what God hath willed and confidently abide by the same.
Unto each one hath been prescribed a preordained measure, as decreed in God's mighty and guarded Tablets. All that which ye potentially possess can, however, be manifested only as a result of your own volition.

Abdu'l-Baha
The wisdom of the appearance of the spirit in the body is this: the human spirit is a Divine Trust, and it must traverse all conditions, for its passage and movement through the conditions of existence will be the means of its acquiring perfections.
The human spirit may be likened to the bounty of the sun shining on a mirror. The body of man ... grows and develops through the animal spirit.
This perfected body can be compared to a mirror, and the human spirit to the sun. Nevertheless, if the mirror breaks, the bounty of the sun continues; and if the mirror is destroyed or ceases to exist, no harm will happen to the bounty of the sun, which is everlasting. This spirit has the power of discovery; it encompasses all things...
In the beginning of his human life man was embryonic in the world of the matrix. There he received capacity and endowment for the reality of human existence. The forces and powers necessary for this world were bestowed upon him in that limited condition. In this world he needed eyes; he received them potentially in the other. He needed ears; he obtained them there in readiness and preparation for his new existence. The powers requisite in this world were conferred upon him in the world of the matrix.
Therefore, in this world he must prepare himself for the life beyond. That which he needs in the world of the Kingdom must be obtained here. Just as he prepared himself in the world of the matrix by acquiring forces necessary in this sphere of existence, so, likewise, the indispensable forces of the divine existence must be potentially attained in this world.
That world beyond is a world of sanctity and radiance; therefore, it is necessary that in this world he should acquire these divine attributes. In that world there is need of spirituality, faith, assurance, the knowledge and love of God. These he must attain in this world so that after his ascension from the earthly to the heavenly Kingdom he shall find all that is needful in that eternal life ready for him.
The mind and spirit of man advances when he is tried by suffering... Hence, suffering and tribulation of free man from the petty affairs of this worldly life until he arrives at a state of complete detachment.

Pursuit to Immortality-Technology, claimed to be
 Spiritual-Technology.
Immortality also has an allocation of detriments. Contrary to what many people believe, humans are still evolving. That's not a big deal if you have the kind of immortality that only lasts 1,000 or 2,000 years, but of course real immortality means you'll still be walking the earth, in your current body, a million years from now. Science has no idea where future mutations might lead us by that point. And also that you are mentally growing old I do  not say that if you were to be magically granted immortality, you'd eventually get Alzheimer's anyway--I assume that the Elixir of Life you sipped will keep your brain physically young- it won't matter. Envision: Your cell phone number changed every week, and every week you were forced to memorize the new one. It gets exponentially harder because all of those old numbers are still in your memory, clogging up the works. Then imagine someone asked you to instantly recall the number you had five numbers ago. Everlasting life and experiences may be infinite, but your brain's ability to stockpile and evoke will be restricted. It would not be very long before your brain is piled up with junk like one of the houses on Hoarders. Your body will be young, but you'll still be forgetting people's names and telling the same jokes to the same person twice in one day. Though you'll still be perfectly capable of giving a grumpy speech on where you were when the World Trade Center was destroyed and how kids in the future have it so easy.
A Russian mogul wants to achieve cybernetic immortality for humans within the next 33 years. He's pulled together a team intent on creating fully functional holographic human avatars that house our artificial brains. Now he's asking billionaires to help fund the advancements needed along the way.
The man behind the 2045 Initiative, described as a nonprofit organization, is a Russian named Dmitry Itskov. The ambitious timeline he's laid out involves creating different avatars. First a robotic copy that is controlled far-flung through a brain interface. Then one in which a human brain can be transplanted at the end of life. The next could house an artificial human brain, and finally we'd have holographic avatars containing our intelligence much like the movie "Surrogates."Gizmag's Dario Borghino wisely warned that "one must be careful not to believe that improbable technological advances automatically become more likely simply by looking further away in the future." And in the grand scheme of things, 2045 is not that far away. So just how likely is it that this project will succeed? For more insight, let's check in with Ted Williams. Oh, wait. Recently Itskov published an open letter to the Forbes world's billionaires list telling them that they have the ability to finance the extension of their own lives up to immortality. He writes that he can prove the concept's viability to anyone who's skeptical and will coordinate their personal immortality projects for free. PopSci's Clay Dillow described Itskov in March as a 31-year-old media mogul, but I couldn't find a detailed biography for him. The project's ultimate goal is to save people from suffering and death. While there are smart experts involved, that's no guarantee that human immortality is even a goal worth pursuing. Anyone caught up in the vampire mania that's punctured popular culture has pondered whether, given a choice, you'd actually want to live forever.
For me, there's a world of difference between pursuing a brain-controlled exoskeleton to help paraplegics regain control and wanting to essentially upload a human brain into an artificial body. I read a sci-fi novel involving disembodied live brains once. It didn't turn out well. All the same I wish them Luck!
Guys this really serious, we must actually think about it. Is being mortal that bad, in datum – Is being immortal any better? Mortality or immortality! leave back a few comments and suggestions. I would love to know what you contemplate!

Inclement Rainy day-Poem

Like taps were left open in the skies I thought when I was an infant
To wet my cloak and see frogs crock were better than the lessons
To wet my strands and dirty my hands with muck were all my missions
To do it all and hide from god and parents…
Like taps were left open in the skies I thought when I was an infant

When I was 8 I learnt the fate of this empty world of treasons
Where the white mares and fairy tales were all superstitions
I knew in grief there were thieves, goons and killers outside prisons
Here lives a race which sees the face of brutal fate without a reason
When I was 8 I learnt the fate of this empty world of treasons

Today I stretch my arms and feel the breeze with moisty beads
With thunder and storms to make anyone squeak
I stride back to the thought of the world so screed of horrible deeds
Hands hold me, the handsome guy with a striking glee
And there he promises me to walk along until he breathes…

That is just ME

Every day is a syllable in the long journal of my life-As I anticipate it’d be long. I explore every purview to slowly unwind myself from the Intricate Fragments I ‘am tied onto. Words make my life and my life adds a pristine meaning to the words. I may not be an epitome, But, I sure am a short- stout girl who has a breathtaking love affair with Papers and Pens. It may not be the best romance, yet it would be noticeable. I ‘am a newbie to the blog world…hence, your feedbacks and comments would be more than helpful.
Cheers,

Adieu to Appa

A great go merry jolly time, watching a musical concert got coalesced with a feeling of despair. Someone was at the door, It was dad…He got in and asked Grandma to serve him dinner. Everything seemed fine but, the lump in my throat turned heavier making it hard for me to even swallow water. The onomatopoeia of my ringing phone interrupted this whole feeling of disrupt. It was a call from grandpa’s meditation group, enquiring if he had left as he hadn’t reached. On hearing this dad said he had dropped grandpa to the railway crossing long back, he alighted himself from the chair and rushed, I overheard our neighbor telling my dad about an old man who succumbed to a train accident….wearing an orange dhoti. I turned blue all that flashed in my head was the very SCENE that occurred in the morning…grandpa clutched his hands to either sides of his ORANGE DHOTI and told dad “this is all I need I have many unstitched pieces of formals, so you can get them stitched for yourself.”
It was just a hope that kept me calm. But, I knew for sure God had been brutal to his own adherent…taking him in such a ruthless way. Tears rolled down my cheeks as my neighbors made their way home and sat next to my grandma…it was something decidedly fishy. According to my Grandma it was our neighbor who was battling for life…in short people who came to console her were being consoled, she then neatly draped herself in sari and festinated to the kitchen and came out with a container of  Gangajal (The holy water from river Ganges.) and asked me to open it. It was awkward to tell her that it was my APAPPA who probably needed it…I really had no clue I stopped her from going. I pulled my neighbor inside my room, her eyes were filled all that she uttered was “Mama has left us.” I turned numb it was a feeling of pure devastation, a critical loss: of a Philosopher, Teacher, Guardian , Friend, An Ideal and more over My Grandpa. I told myself I ‘am not supposed to cry in front of grandma. I gave her an excuse of going down to check if our neighbor was fine I sat on the staircase and cried my heart out soon I heard my mother she came in and told grandma that grandpa had gone. She missed out on the word grandpa and said “I know I told Nidhi he was dying and she dint let me go to him and feed him gangajal” mom repeated ‘It’s our APPA no one else’ she hushed and calmly asked if mom was joking, she turned pale when mom said how it all happened … for my grandma it was not just a companion whom she lost it was her GURU…she wept aloud and said how grandpa met everyone before he left today, about how for the first and perhaps the last time in his life did he wave her a bye, about how he told her to keep  chanting and praying, about how he indirectly prepared her in earnest…people  started coming home, dad was at the hospital he had to go there to get the postmortem done. I peeped outside the window I saw a crowd of people waiting to hear from us about grandpa’s demise. I hastened to the building compound; numerous questions were bombarded at me. I told them everything like a heard lore and headed back home. By 3 early in the morning dad came home and said at 11 am apappa’s body would come; dad gave me a bag that had grandpa’s valued possessions…I put my hand inside the bag and found a box that had two elliptical lingas immersed in water; a rudraaksh mala that he used…I put it around my neck; a packet of polythene that had his wrist watch, two rings of which one ring had blood on it, it looked cut or broken to get it out of his finger; I shuddered, I could feel the pain he would have felt, I quivered…I put everything into my drawer. Grandpa always told me I was his heir…with all these thoughts I walked up to my bed and gazed outside my bedside window. It was a feeling of spookiness, I closed my eyes and turned nostalgic, thinking about how we indulged in brainstorming, debating, arguing and even fighting like how friends do…he was blessed with abundant experience and knowledge, wherein the dictionary application in my cell phone would confuse me but he would give me a very prompt and accurate meaning of any word. He was like this army officer, who kept things going in a protocol, he was my personal alarm clock, he used to motivate me to get rid of my slumber and start working; he was my tissue whenever there was an issue, if I shed tears he would stop me. He was everything to me…I am not sure if I could grasp all the qualities he had in fifteen years but I am sure, I might have imbibed some values and qualities.
I dozed off thinking about it and woke up with a vague dream that does not last in my memory any longer but for sure, I know it was Apappa who woke me up on time. Relatives and friends flooded in. I sat on my bed till I gathered courage to face people. I felt lost, I burst out crying. Soon I heard apappa’s body was being brought home. I feared even seeing It! Hiding in my kitchen I peeped out…I was no longer scared.
His face looked like that of a legend, he was draped in surgical paper, there was no trait of fear on his face…a shine of vigor…the very fact that he was home for the last time made me cry…I heard people murmuring, “Look he’s still bleeding.”; “The train went over mama’s legs.”; “He suffered.”…all I knew HE never had words like pain, fear, suffering in his dictionary…he did not look like he suffered. He never wanted to stay on bed and die of an ailment…he told me I don’t want people to serve me, I want an instant death! That is exactly what happened…He had this style of walking the talk, he was a man of his words, I guess he knew he was going. Apappa and God had this whole dramatic conspiracy set up…of which I wanted a sneak. After a few days of rituals and all I went to Tilaknagar railway station and spoke to the person who sold peanuts and asked him if he knew something about what exactly happened…he said…
“I used to see this man cross the tracks very often he never crossed the tracks without looking at the signal. But that night a teen was crossing and probably it would have been the young boy in his place. He saved the boy, slipped and fell, screamed SAI RAM and that was it he didn’t even move when the train started.” The postmortem reports also said poly trauma it wasn’t the accident that he succumbed of, he did not suffer, he panicked. But I ‘am sure it was just a reason to quote…and I ‘am a granddaughter of a legend…And I ‘am certainly Proud.
